Reopening of the Mazarine Library to the public: June 30, 2020
From Tuesday 30 June at 10:00 am, the Mazarine Library welcomes readers again, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. All services to the public will be carried out in accordance with the current regulations of the Mazarine Library, with the following clarifications and exceptions:
- the Library is open to registered readers or readers in the process of registration; visit to the reading room are not allowed yet;
- the wearing of masks is mandatory for everybody, readers and staff, in all public areas of the library; access to the reading room is refused to any person arriving without a mask; the wearing of a visor is not considered as a substitute;
- we kindly ask readers to disinfect their hands before entering the Library (dispenser available at the entrance); readers at the reserve tables must also wash their hands with soapy water before any consultation;
- cards still active on 16 March 2020 are valid for an extension of 3 months;
- the exceptional loan service introduced on 18 May is suspended on 30 June.
