The online catalogue of the Bibliothèque Mazarine contains records of more than 185000 books, serials and documents. You can find:

 

• All the library collections items published since 1900;
• 3000 serials titles, actual or old;
• 20000 records of XIX century's works;
• 30000 records of works before 1800;
• Library's records from the Centre d'études compostellanes (study center about Santiago de Compostela).

 

You can find records by entering keywords (launch the catalogue and click on "Rechercher par mots") or you can search against specific indexes (launch the catalogue and click on "Rechercher par listes").

 

You can search in the whole integrated catalogue, or you can limit the research to the serials or to a specific collection of the library. To select a catalogue subset search, click on "Autres catalogues" and choose a database or a collection. To go back to the general catalogue, click on "Autres catalogues" and then "Catalogue general".

 

The Bibliothèque Mazarine collaborates on different union catalogues, French and international ones:

The records of the manuscripts owned by the library are available in Calames (universities' archives and manuscripts online catalogue), where you can search in several manuscripts collections at the same time.

Illuminations of the library's 1400 Middle Ages manuscripts, digitized in a large program between the French educational service and the Institut de Recherche et d'Histoire des Textes , are available in the Liber Floridus database. These illuminations are accessible by leafing through the manuscripts recorded, or search by keywords for those that are indexed.
